Pumpkin Patch

This weekend, Gavin turned 4 months old. To mark the occasion, we decided to take Gavin to the Picha Pumpkin Patch. Now I know what some of you may be thinking.... What about just going to Cousin Gracie's pumpkin patch in Spokane? Well, the pumpkins were already picked up, Spokane was last weekend, and it was rainy.

We began by touring through the collections of picked pumpkins neatly displayed on the hay bales and decorated with scarecrows. It was a perfect opportunity to snap some photos of the "Cute and Clever" kid.

A nice, grandmotherly type offered to take a photo of all of us together. Thanks lady!

Because of the beautiful weather, it was no surprise that there were a number of families wondering about in search of the perfect pumpkin. Many of the kids were in costume, which Gavin enjoyed staring at.

We took a stroll through the corn maze, looking for the answers to corn related questions and punching our card. Gavin of course enjoyed looking at all the plants and watching the sun dance between the corn leaves.

We thought it would be a tasty treat to get a bag of Kettle Corn. They were so popular that we had to wait a bit for a new batch of corn. And what do you do at the pumpkin patch while waiting for your kettle corn? Why, take some more pictures of course!

We had a great time visiting the Pichas, playing in the corn maze, watching all the families and eating all the kettle corn. It was a wonderful way to spend the day with Mr. Cute and Clever!
