Happy Halloween

Halloween, of course, begins with a great costume and a few pumpkins.  Luckily we found the costume a few weeks ago, and picked up some pumpkins from the farm with our last visit (Thanks Grace!).  After picking up some decorations for the house, we headed home for the beginnings of the carving.

Bryan did the scooping, and Amy spent the time picking through the pumpkin guts in order to find all of the seeds inside.  She does a great job seasoning them up and roasting them in the oven.  Delicious and nutritious!  Gavin is still a little young to handle a knife, so he spent his time cheering us on.... and napping.

Nothing says "GO, GO, GO!  CARVE THAT SQUASH!"  Like this adorable smiling face.  Look at all of that Halloween spirit he's got.

Well, after all the decorating and carving it was time to put on the costume and have a little fall fun!  First with Dad...

Then it was Mom's turn!
Look at all of the pumpkins to play with!

And of course, it isn't fall without playing in a pile of leaves.  What else could a cute little puppy ask for?

After a nice visit with some neighbors and a walk around the neighborhood, it was time to play a little on the floor.  After all, doggies aren't allowed on the couch.

This was super cute! I like your little puppy. Did he try to eat the leaves? My little pumpkin enjoys doing that.
