I've been excited about getting a new bike so that I could commute to and from school. So today, I took the plunge and rode home from school. Not too many dogs barking, and the traffic was OK. It took me about 30 minutes to go 6.1 miles (according to Yahoo Maps). The best part was that I rode in shorts and a couple of T-shirts (though I was still a little on the warm side. The whole ride was a great way to get some sun and fresh air. Can't wait for the next one!
